Newspaper Depicts Obamas With Monkey Faces: Libs Scream Racism

See the pic and judge for yourself. Is this newspaper guilty of racism for depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes?

(WND) With an image reminiscent of the classic film “Planet of the Apes,” a Belgian newspaper is accused of racism for printing a doctored photo putting monkey-like faces on President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.

The article, which ostensibly makes fun of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has a second photo of the American leader with a caption reading, “First black president of the USA starts selling weed.”

De Morgan, the progressive newspaper in Belgium which printed the picture as a joke under Putin’s byline, has already apologized by saying it was in “bad taste,” adding it was merely attempting to spoof Putin and the public fight between the two world leaders.

  3. I agree with a comment made previously from Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense under GWB. The country could be run better under a trained ape vs. Obama.

  4. I don't like either Barack or Michelle, but I do think there is no reason for publishing such a picture.

    2. I agree. The reason I do not like Barack Obama is not because he is black. Well, actually he's also half white. I dislike his left wing policies and I dislike the Islamization of the US by him and his Muslim Brotherhood minions.

    5. Fool's names and monkey's faces are always found in public places. I think it's hilarious. The more people scream racist there is the likelihood more of the same will be printed.

  6. This is totally wrong. Why would any American newspaper o this route? I am white, not a racist. If this was done to one of my friends or co workers I would be passed. I do not agree with Obama's politics, but crap like this is reprehensible.

    3. I think it is a insult to the apes, they are soon to become extinct because of people like those two, they are killing there own babies by the millions apes do not do that, they both need to go away to another planet somewhere

    4. I count it as a political cartoon. A political cartoon says something true about the follies of a govt. official or some bad thing going on. It is a way to express a dislike of something or someone. Not evil as I see it just expressing an oppinion.

  7. Anonymous, you should read the article. The news paper was in Belgium not the USA. You would be able to hear the screams if it had been done by an American newspaper. I can't think of one that would bash this president no matter what he did.

    1. To me it's the low information voters that did not read the entire article to determine where it was written.

    3. only goes to prove that THE WHOLE WORLD is having a laugh at America's expense FOR THE RACIST BLACKS WHO SUPPORTED APE & FAMILY BY A 96% MARGIN. Those are the true racists

    4. Absolutely spot on.

    5. So it took a Belgium paper to print what is perceived as a racist cartoon. The Democrat Party calls everything they don't like, "Racist." It's like the boy who cried "wolf" too often, since Obama's response to everything that doesn't support him is to call it "racist." The public is numbed to the term, so it is meaningless (until it becomes a crime to be accused of being racist).

  8. Well, the ape pictures were certainly in bad taste. Not sure it is racist, as they might have done it the same if Obama were white or something. Hard to tell. But it is in bad taste. However, if you look at the history of political cartoons, it is no worse than what you would have found 100 years ago... People need to grow back bones.

  9. The truest depiction I have ever seen, with apologies to apes.

  13. This photo is in supremely bad taste. I personally think Obama's policies and his actions are diametrically opposed to all Americans' best interests, and I would vote for impeachment tomorrow if given the opportunity. But, this photo simply gives his left-wing supporters ammunition to drum up support and most of all sympathy for him and his causes - it will backfire in the Liberals' favor.

    1. It was not republicans that did this, there should be no backfire, it came from another country so can put the blame on anyone here.

    3. so...! how did they miss Al "GORILLA FACE" Sharpton and and Jesse "THE BABOON" Jackson. Personally ! I'm out of patience with all the kiss ass/politically correct preferential treatment afforded blacks. Equitable blacks have long since proved their worth and are doing fine. I'm sick of every TV show and movie (HOLLYWONK) deliberately placing blacks in superior roles. BUT, that's HOLLYWONK.....who promote trash like Miley, Gaga and other shock value zero talents

  14. Although I despise the Obamas and can't stand them because of their political philosophy and ideology, I am sickened by this depiction. This is inappropriate and slap in the face to all Americans, Black and otherwise.. Belgium should support this country less they forget about WWII.

    1. obamas have caused other countries to disrespect us, so we need to stand up and demand him to step down from office.

    2. Belgium can support our Country and still fault our President. Just as we can. Regarding you reference to WWII perhaps they see clouds forming today very similar to those that preceded WWII. I do and Obama does not inspire me at all in this regard.

  15. Any one in the public eye and/or a celebrity must endure the actions of the fans or non-fans. The Belgium people may have a different sense of humor than another country. If this were done to their leader(s) would we then get all bent out of shape? The less
said often is the better route to take.
